”Falls of Lights”

One cannot say that bags created by Federico Sangalli do not shine of their own light. “Light my Night” is the name of the collection,  launched worldwide during the Salone del Mobile, the international furniture exhibition that took place in Milan last April 14 through 19.  Twelve pieces characterized by elegant geometrics and made with a fabric (which he has an exclusive on for clothing and accessories) weaved with LED fiber-optics, lit up by an internal charger: a cascade of tiny little lights shining for up to 12 straight hours. The designer, winner of the 2008 contest for young creative talents promoted by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and author of a wonderful model, two years later, danced by nonetheless than David Parson, showed a preview of the bags to his loyal customers in the same atelier in Piazza San Babila where his mother introduced, in 1954, her first couture collection. As they say in Italy: blood will out!
